THE HISTORIC TRANSFER OF POWER IN GHANA

A NEW ERA BEGINS

This morning, a historic moment unfolded as Nana Addo

Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the outgoing President of Ghana, used the presidential coat of arms as his number plate for the LAST TIME. He arrived at the inauguration venue with a GRAND MOTORCADE, while John Dramani Mahama, the President-elect, arrived with his motorcade, bearing the ordinary DVLA number plate.

As President Mahama took his oath of office, the coat of arms was REMOVED from President Akufo-Addo's car and EMBOSSED on President Mahama's car. President Akufo-Addo then departed the inauguration grounds with the ordinary DVLA number plate.

This CHANGE OF POWER serves as a poignant reminder that NOTHING IS PERMANENT IN LIFE. Life is constantly evolving, and we must remain HUMBLE, MODEST, and RESPECTFUL in the face of change.
